Hello deviantART!!! Do you want to enter a contest, but can't find one? Do you want to advertise a contest you are hosting? Then you have come to the right place! But beware the starving Contest Beast, tread carefully on these dangerous grounds, for to the Contest Beast Deviants are crunchy and taste good with Ketchup! But! Fear not! As long as you feed the ravenous beast entries to our contests, he will not go on a wild rampage all around deviantART. So please, for the sake of all Deviants, feed the beast!

The Contest Beast is a club of sorts, only we do not have members. Our contests are open to any and all Deviants, so please do not send us notes asking how to become a member. Simply send us a note with the title being the name of the contest you are entering, and attach your entry. One entry per note, and you may enter as many entries as the rules of the contest say. We are always planning new contests, and the next contest will always be listed below the rules for the current contest. Please know that if you are not interested in a current contest, we will host a wide variety of contests, so please keep checking back. While we do not have members, we would appreciate as many watches as possible so you can always be alerted to new contests.

Also, if you are hosting a contest, and wish us to advertise it, please send us a note with a link to the journal page that has the contest rules, prizes, entries ect. and we will feature it on our journal for all to see We are also in constant need of new contest ideas, so if you have an idea for a contest, but do not wish to host it yourself, send us a note with the basic idea, and any details you may have worked out, and we will consider hosting it. If it fits in with our standards, we will most likely host it at some time or another, and you will be credited for the idea.

The Contest Beast is owned by two Christian girls, and we would appreciate it if you help our Beast stay clean of curse or vulgar words, obscene statements, and in entries no YAOI or YURI, and preferably no nudity or sexual themes. We will not accept a deviation with a maturity filter, unless it is only for violence and gore. If your entry(ies) does not agree with these terms it will be disqualified and you will have to enter a deviation that agrees with our terms. As for curse and vulgar words, I honestly don’t think you want the Beast to hear them because he will repeat them in very menacing growls and grunts and it will really not be a pretty sound O.O

The point of The Contest Beast is to entertain, to be enjoyed, to be helpful to budding and established artists to have the chance for their art to be see by more people and to maybe win some great prizes for it!

We are always in need of great prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners (and possibly additional places, depending on the rules of each contest) So if you would like to donate a prize for a current or upcoming contest, please send us a note with what contest you wish to donate to, and what prize you would like to donate. Also, the Beast would like a subscription so we could offer excellent critiques, have polls, feature winners, and all entrants entries, as well as enjoying the other wonderful features to better our club, and promote our entrants art even more! So if you would like to donate the gift of even a small subscription, we will be ever grateful and your avatar will be featured in a list of donors for as long as the club is in existence.
